Nursing and Rehabilitation

Rehabilitation has been recognized as a significant part of healthcare especially in disorders such as stroke, depression. Stroke is the result of blood deprivation to the brain cells, leading to cell death and hampering the body functions controlled by those cells. Depression can be due to many reasons resulting into sadness, guilty feeling, mood swings, and helplessness. Nurses are the caregivers to the patients and assist them in overcoming these situations to live a happy and healthy life.

The global market for drugs used in mental disorders was $70.1 billion in 2012 and $68.9 billion in 2013. This market is expected to rise at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 2.3% from 2013 to 2018 and reach $77.1 billion by 2018.
